Project: Woden Experiment, ACT

The Woden Community Service supported by Transport Canberra and City Service are working to activate and re-energise the Woden Town Square. Through working with the local community we hope to provide a place where people can work, live and play.

The ACT-Government-funded #WodenExperiment is a visionary project to revamp the Woden Town Square. The project which kicked off in 2019 and aims to transform the community space. It includes a stage for community performances, smart benches with phone and laptop charging, flexible table settings next to areas set aside for pop-up food and drink vendors, turf areas with sun loungers and an outdoor table tennis facility.
